Davide Fabiani University of Bologna

Davide Fabiani is an Associate Professor at the University of Bologna, specifically in the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Engineering "Guglielmo Marconi". He has been in this position since 2014¹. His research interests are primarily focused on the development of nanomaterials for electrical, electronic, and energy applications, as well as the study of aging and diagnostics of electrical insulators¹. Fabiani was born in Forlì in 1972. He graduated with honors in Electrical Engineering in 1997 and obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Bologna in 2001¹. He started his academic career as a research grant holder at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Bologna from 2002 to March 2005¹. In April 2005, he became an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Bologna¹. He obtained the National Scientific Qualification as an Associate Professor in December 2012¹. From 31/03/2017, he holds the National Scientific Qualification as a Full Professor¹. He has been teaching various courses for undergraduate and master's programs of the School of Engineering and Architecture since 2007¹. Currently, he is the Professor of Innovative Electrical Technologies M and Design and Diagnostics of Electrical Insulation Systems M for Master’s degree courses in Energy Engineering and Electrical Energy Engineering¹. Since 2011, he has been the scientific director of the Laboratory of Innovative Materials for Electrical Systems (LIMES) of the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Engineering of the University of Bologna¹.
